1st Nine Weeks Bingo Party

Students who met their AR goals for the First Nine Weeks enjoyed a Bingo Party! They played bingo and enjoyed hotdogs, chips, Capri suns and cookies. Everyone was winner and received a prize!

Congratulations to the students who met their Accelerated Reading Goals for the 2013-2014 school year! The students enjoyed a day of bowling and skating at Corkan Family Center.

 

Read Across America Day!

Students from Mrs. McCallum's class enjoyed a visit from a very popular fish! The fish read the story, "The Cat in the Hat from the Fish's Point of View" to the students and played a game with them!

Liberty County Media Specialist visit Snelson-Golden Middle School to have their monthly media meeting and enjoy a Scholastic Bookfair workshop!

Students who met their AR goals for the Second Nine Weeks had the opportunity to watch the movie, "Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters" and enjoy pizza and drinks!

Recycle, Reduce, Reuse!

Mrs. McCallum's class enjoys a presentation about learning how to Recycle, Reduce, and Reuse everyday materials. The students enjoyed a story that was read to them by Mrs. Jamie Rearley. Also, students participated in an activity that required them so sort everyday house items into recycle, reduce, or reuse bins.
